The Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), with the cooperation of Bay Zoltán Nonprofit Ltd. for Applied Research organized a joint co-creation workshop within the framework of the Horizon Europe project, Engage4BIO. The workshop’s topic was the broad introduction and promotion of the local bioeconomy (with a particular focus on the agri-food industry) with the help of design and art. The aim was to develop concrete solutions to raise awareness of the importance and future role of the bioeconomy and make it relatable to the public. Participants were recruited from various sectors in close connection to the local bioeconomy or interested in the topic from the side of education, design, policy, business life, and the civil sphere. The workshop program also included a joint action planning for next year’s programs. Therefore, an awareness-raising camping blueprint was created, synthesizing the actions and events defined by the contributors to be implemented in 2024.
